Mission
Ojai Community Acupuncture has just been approved by California to move forward in the process of becoming a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide and promote public access to affordable acupuncture. We remove financial barriers to patient access to acupuncture as a form of health care, all while providing a living wage for our employees.
Vanessa Leilani Tucker (Leilani) is a nationally board-certified acupuncturist, Dipl. Ac. , as well as a Licensed Acupuncturist, L.Ac., in the state of California. She has a Master's in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperors College and is currently a doctoral candidate in Yo San University's Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program, specializing in Healthy Aging and Longevity. Her passion is treating chronic and acute pain, stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction and women's health throughout the lifespan.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, knitting, cooking, botanical painting, and studying classical Chinese medicine.
Leilani's passion for Chinese medicine was sparked while working as a financial analyst, where she found relief from pain, anxiety, and insomnia through acupuncture and herbs. She is dedicated to helping others alleviate their symptoms and find balance and harmony by addressing the root cause of disease.
